Distance Images of Immediate Success

Distant Images are comprised of Jilly and Macca who together form an evocative, electronic indie pop duo from Glasgow, Scotland. The singer-songwriters are the masters of atmospheric, minimalistic ambient tracks which suddenly burst into life with energetic, beautifully chaotic crescendos for their chorus.

Their debut E.P, ‘A Vision of Us’ went down an absolute storm and drew comparisons with Cocteau Twins, M83 and Slowdive. Their follow up single ‘The Winter’ went on to enjoy airplay on BBC Introducing Scotland.

The duo are currently working on their second EP. The first two singles, ‘Echoes’ and ‘Hurricane’ have been well received with high acclaim and have served to increase their already impressive fanbase!

‘Echoes’ showcases a truly divine mix of floaty synths and rhythmic guitar combined with dual vocals, which work to create a light and breezy harmony before kicking in with drum beats which elevate and take the track to the next level, while ‘Hurricane’ captivates the listener with a blend of mellow pop and gentle guitar strokes.
