A new concept album, ‘Walk Tall for Papyrus – Volume 2

A new concept album, ‘Walk Tall for Papyrus – Volume 2’ has just been launched in aid of the UK charity Papyrus – working throughout the UK for the prevention of young suicide. With Mental Health issues at all all-time high there has never been a better time to get involved and support such a worthy cause. The Sensory Garden Project is a private Facebook group with over 4,000 members sharing music, comedy and art to help raise funds for the charity:

As a concept album, the tracks have been arranged based on the life story of ‘The imaginary Guy’ in Val Doonican’s song, ‘Walk Tall’. Volume 2 follows the recent release of the first compilation and is a further and deeper reflection of ‘Val’s’ travels through life’s struggles, depicted through the music that he loves.

Themes covered include his early years plus people that he meets on his journey, the hardships, anxiety and depression caused by relationship; his mental turmoil and how ultimately music (and a black cat) saved his life! 🧡

This is an album with a lively start, a very ROCKY middle and a happy ending – with twists and turns along the path. All tracks have been donated by the artists, friends / members of the Sensory Garden Project and are being released as part of a compilation of tunes as a fundraiser. An eclectic mix of approx. 40 tracks, genres include Reggae, Ska, World, Dub, Progressive Rock, Rock, Electronic, Dance, Punk Folk and Acoustic, etc. from the UK and beyond… all combined with some beautiful vocals and lyrics.
