Please introduce us to the band.
We are The Thieves
Frankie Dobson – Lead Vocals and Guitar
Liam Raine – Bass
Leon Chadwick – Drums
What first got you into music?
I grew up around it and ended up getting into my dads selection of music which was the likes of Oasis, Stone Roses and the Jam etc
Then my grandparents would always have The Beatles or the Rolling Stones or mowtown on in their house so I just had their music collections to listen to
Who inspired you to make music?
I don’t really know when I started wanting to write,
I think you get to a point where you’re sick of Playing other Peoples music and I Started writing young
So for a 15/16 year old writing music was a better way of dealing with how I was feeling at the time
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
If our music is anything it’s honest, there’s no smoke and mirrors about it we sing songs about stuff that reflects our circumstances
Its just Raw, Honest, aggressive music that people can get behind
Have you signed with a record label yet?
We aren’t actually signed to any labels but if there’s any reading this that like what they hear?
EMI?….Sony?…….Creation?
Where have you performed? 
Some particular highlights would be, Gorilla Manchester, O2 Academy2 in Newcastle, THINK TANK? Newcastle

What are your favourite and least favourite venues?
My personal favourite was maybe The Cluny1 the sound there was great or maybe THINK TANK? That’s a place we love to play
We don’t have a place thats our least favourite we’re just happy to show people what we can do and prove our worth too people
Do you have any upcoming shows?
Yes we have a gig on the 15th October in Stockton at KU bar supporting shader but you can find all gig details on our social media

What is your favourite song to perform?
I like playing the unreleased songs live because it shows people what we’ve got coming and I love seeing peoples reactions
We have a song called Get Down Low that I love playing live but I love bulletproof too its just that drum beat,
the whole arrangement is so different in contrast to the whole set
What other songs or albums have you done?
We’ve got a Debut EP entitled Youth and Innocence that came out in 2019,
 (which we still have a few physical copies of so if you are interested please message us only £5, including postage)
And we’ve just released a Radio Edit that you guys are playing of MTV
Which famous musicians do you admire and why?
I really admire people like, Steve Marriott, Paul Weller, Johnny Marr, Liam Gallagher, Brian Jones, Marc Bolan
The list could go on for days but they are just some to name a few
What is one message you would give to your fans?
Thank you for supporting us and we’ve got gigs coming so get your tickets!
I got to ask this but what football teams do you support?
Me and Liam are Both Middlesborough supporters
And Leon supports Portsmouth FC
What casual gear do you all wear?

What’s next for you?
Lots of gigging (hopefully) , lots of writing, new songs and lots of bigger things to come!
