On Bank Holiday Sunday, the 29th of August, Away Day Radio is proud to present its first-ever gig at the HMV Empire in Coventry. The magnificent band from Coventry, The Institutes will be headlining and their setlist will no doubt include their most recently released single, ‘I Just Can’t Keep Myself From Loving You’ which you can listen to here. Supporting The Institutes, we have stellar local bands and solo artists. The Drift, Myles Cheshire, Jay Tennant, The Astras and Athens make up what can only be described as some of the best local acts from in and around the Midlands.
Doors open at 17:00 and if it’s an all-night party you are looking for, tickets are a bargain and can be purchased here. The Institutes will finish up around 23:00 and then it’s over to some of our ‘trusted’ DJs to spin the tunes to keep you shoulder shuffling all night long. Fancy a bit of it?
