RELEASES
11/12 – DMA’S – Cobracaine (Jacques Lu Cont. Remix)
Aussie trio DMA’S have released another remix from their latest album ‘The Glow’.
This time album closer ‘Cobracaine’ receives the rework from Jacques Lu Cont who is a producer who has worked with the likes of New Order, Madonna and Dua Lipa.
DMA’S’ current album ‘The Glow’ represented a huge leap forward for the Australian trio. They infused their euphoric anthems with pulsating alt-pop synths and big beat dynamics, a heady blend which resulted in their highest chart positions of their career. It debuted at #4 in the UK and #2 in Australia, while next year’s UK and Ireland tour will see them headline arenas for the first time.
DMA’S have consistently proven to be a huge attraction in the live arena. Their previous UK tour sold 40,000 tickets and they also earned the biblical support of Liam Gallagher, who invited them as main support on his 2019 arena tour. Having played to a sold-out Brixton Academy just before lockdown, the band are set to make a long-awaited return to live shows with a UK and Ireland tour next April that includes their biggest London headline show to date at the 10,000 capacity Alexandra Palace.
They’ll follow the tour by playing two Sounds of the City shows, joining fellow headliners including Foals, Kaiser Chiefs and The Streets. A show in Leeds has just been added after the first gig in Manchester sold-out.

04/11 – The Skinner Brothers – Low
Rising indie stars The Skinner Brothers share new single ‘Low’ with a partnering video.
‘Low’ is released on Blagger Records alongside an official video, which was directed by Connor Hill. It’s a snapshot of a day in the life of The Skinner Brothers, featuring an electrifying live performance in the flat they share and footage filmed around their hometown of Brentford.
The Skinner Brothers have been bubbling under as a hot tip on the indie circuit since forming in 2018. They were personally invited by Carl Barât to join The Libertines on the road, which they followed by headlining a tour for new music champions This Feeling. Clash hailed their early single ‘Nothing But An Actor’ for its “Impish, rebellious thrills” while this year’s ‘Away Days’ helped push their Spotify streams towards the 2 million landmark.
The band’s vocalist, guitarist and producerZac Skinner commented,
“‘Low’ is about the brilliance of flying so high! And then the horror of crashing down to a spectacular LOW!”

04/11 – Kelly Jones (Stereophonics) – Don’t Let The Devil Take Another Day
Stereophonics frontman released his new live compilation album titled ‘Don’t Let The Devil Take Another Day’.
The album is a collection of live reworked tunes from Kelly’s solo tour of the same name. The album is so much more than just a music album as most of the tracks are introduced by a heartfelt story about the track. The tails are both heart warming and also heart breaking. One of the many highlights is the brilliant story that introduces ‘Before Anyone Knew Our Name’ about Stereophonics original drummer Stuart Cable, forming the band and right up to an hilarious story about supporting the Rolling Stones in Paris and Stuart doing something to Keith Richards’ Sheperds Pie.
The tour is also set to be set to be released in cinemas on 11th Decemeber and then an online premier follows on the 18th.
27/11 – Maximo Park – I Don’t Know What I’m Doing
Maxïmo Park have shared a new song ‘I Don’t Know What I’m Doing’, from upcoming new album ‘Nature Always Wins’, along with news of an extensive run of album launch shows.
‘Nature Always Wins’ is set to be released 26th February through Prolifica Inc.
New track ‘I Don’t Know What I’m Doing’ is the band at their most direct and agile. Arriving in a revved-up and snaking flurry it confronts the fear, anxiety and guilt associated with the cause-and-effect nature of one’s own actions.
Lead singer Paul Smith comments:
“It’s about taking responsibility for how your own behaviour can affect other people, and how nobody knows it all, but that doesn’t stop us from trying. More personally, it’s about the fears and self-doubt I’ve experienced as a new parent, which we’ve tried to put across in our new video via the more abstract notion of an endless ladder!”
